IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show in Orlando

October 15 @ 8:00 am - October 16 @ 5:00 pm

We’re on the expo floor this week, meeting growers, importers and retail buyers working on U.S.–Africa fresh produce and floral trade.

This week, US Africa Trade Desk is at the IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The expo floor runs October 15–16, and the show brings together growers, shippers, importers, retailers and service providers from across the global fresh produce and floral supply chain.

Over the two days, our team is meeting U.S. buyers and supply chain partners to understand category requirements, sourcing gaps and seasonal windows where African supply can respond to U.S. demand.

African growers already supply fresh produce and floral product to markets around the world. Building consistent access to U.S. retail depends on getting the structure right: traceability from farm to shelf, compliance with U.S. import and food safety requirements, reliable cold-chain logistics, and commercial agreements that hold from one season to the next. That structure is where our work is focused.

Trade shows like IFPA give us something a spreadsheet can’t: direct conversations with the buyers who decide what reaches the shelf. We’re here in Orlando to listen and to identify where demand is real, so we can build supply programs backwards from it. That’s how durable trade corridors begin.

About IFPA: The International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) represents companies across the fresh produce and floral supply chain worldwide. It hosts the annual Global Produce & Floral Show.
