The U.S.-Africa Trade Desk (USATD) is starting 2026 with strong momentum. In the coming days, our team will be on the ground in West Africa, conducting a series of business and supply-chain site visits as part of our broader engagement across priority export markets. These visits mark an important early-year focus for USATD, centered on gaining first-hand insight into production capacity, quality systems, logistics readiness, and the operational realities that underpin successful trade with the United States. By engaging directly with businesses at origin, USATD strengthens its understanding of how African suppliers across multiple sectors are positioning themselves to meet U.S. market expectations.

 Beginning the year in the field reflects USATD’s practical, market-driven approach to trade facilitation.
