Nairobi, here we come!

The U.S.-Africa Trade Desk is excited to be co-exhibiting with MCT Midlands Commodity Trading Company at AFEC 2026, taking place from 15–16 July at the Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi. This marks USATD’s first time participating in the Africa Feed Exhibition and Conference, and we are pleased to join one of the region’s important platforms for advancing the animal feed and livestock sectors.

AFEC 2026 will bring together feed manufacturers, producers, commodity suppliers, nutrition specialists, technology providers and industry partners to exchange knowledge, explore new solutions and build the commercial relationships needed to support a more productive and sustainable regional feed industry.

Over the two days, the USATD and MCT teams will engage with businesses from across Kenya and the wider East African market to better understand regional sourcing requirements, identify supply gaps and explore where reliable U.S. agricultural commodities, technologies and expertise can respond to African market demand.

Our work is focused on moving beyond trade discussions and converting market interest into bankable transactions that increase U.S. agricultural exports, strengthen African agricultural, manufacturing and livestock value chains, and create meaningful economic opportunities on both continents.
