US Africa Trade Desk is heading to Atlanta for the NBL

From August 19 – 22, we’ll be at the 126th National Business League (NBL) Annual Conference, hosted by the National Alliance for Black Business (NABB) – a coalition uniting NBL, the World Conference of Mayors, the National Black Chamber of Commerce, and other leading Black business institutions. This year’s theme, “The Book of AI™: Booker T. Washington and the Sacred Codes to Economic Sovereignty,” puts capital access, procurement, and enterprise ownership at the center of the conversation.

For us, that conversation connects directly to the work we do across the Atlantic. Building durable, vertically integrated U.S.-Africa trade corridors is, at its core, a question of who captures value in a supply chain – and that question matters as much for Black-owned businesses here in the U.S. as it does for African producers and manufacturers. We’re looking forward to sharing what we’ve learned about deal structuring, trade finance, and traceable supply chains, and to learning from the leaders building economic sovereignty here at home.
